NCSC has, with the help of HUI, produced this White Book in an attempt to map out the industry and its importance to the national economy in the Nordic Countries. This is a first issue and will be updated regularly.

The content covers everything from history to current size of the industry, in GLA and in value as well as in number of employees. Interviews with major shopping center developers also show that there is a big focus on sustainable building and management and an in-depth cooperation with the municipalities on all development projects. To the White Book belongs an Appendix with all known current projects together with what is in pipe-line for the next five years. The Appendix is separate as it will be updated more frequently than the White Book.

The White Book may be used freely with indication of the publisher.
