NCSC, Nordic Council of Shopping Centers, is the association for the shopping center industry in the Nordic countries. The association was founded in 1985 and currently has over 1,000 members in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland and Latvia. The members include all of the industry's biggest players among property owners, investors, managers, retailers, consultants and suppliers as well as representatives from other trade organizations, city planners and municipal representatives.
NCSC's aim is to continuously develop the Nordic shopping center market and strengthen the industry's status as a professional and strong player in the community. Through industry-specific conferences, seminars, newsletters and its own school, they gather the industry's stakeholders on a common platform for development and growth. Increased collaboration across both geographical and professional boundaries promotes the development of well functioning and attractive shopping centers in an increasingly competitive and globalized trade.
